http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/1605/getsmart1lx3.jpgEnjoyable remake of the TV series which is not especially momentous but captures a nice vein of humour and is ably led by Steve Carellhttp://img186.imageshack.us/img186/4750/getsmart2bz8.jpg and Anne Hathaway.

  1. I have to say - this was THE worst remake EVER (besides maybe Wild Wild West). Dude is not Max. I didn't laugh once - it was so bad it tainted the real Get Smart - the greatest dumb old show of all time.

  2. Awwwww come on dugg......Anne Hathaway is smokin and Steve carrel was awsome. I thought it was funny. Even if it went way off the original. But then again im an " office" fan. LOL. Riff

  4. Anne's Got nothing on barbara ! the original is always the better ! Re-makes are always disappointing. Unless there was a remake of Gilligans Isle and gilligan and the Professor were banging ginger and Mary Ann for the Fun of it !

  7. Geez Ed. Get your mind out of the gutter. These gentlemen are reviewing movies. I look at it that it was a movie not the tv show in much the same way as the Mission Impossible movies were not the tv show. Who could replace Peter Graves? All were enjoyable.

  8. You guys must have seen a different version than the one I watched.

  9. Dugg. The point is that the movies were not supposed to be exact continuations of the tv series. Time marches on dude except perhaps for the Muppets and Sponge Bob reruns you watch.
