Jamie passion and passionfruit!

A gentle small lovely Argentine film set in Paraná and Victoria. Ana played by Camila Toker returns to Paraná to catch up on school friends, to do some family business. She also wants to track down an old boyfriend who has mysteriously disappeared to Victoria.  The movie flows along smoothly giving us a view of small city life and attitudes towards romance, the changes that occur in people who move away.  Then as she gets closer to her goal we visit Victoria and Ana is joined by a local 10 year-old to trade home truths about relationships.  Toker and the boy, Juan Cruz Diaz la Barba are first rate.  Celina Murga’s debut film has been called Rohmer like but her characters are far less irritating.  A small gem of a movie.
